Location

The city of Dachau

Dachau is the biggest suburb of Munich. The city borders are just few kilometers apart. As a city of 46.000 people, all the important amenities of everyday life are already here. Nevertheless, we profit from the close proximity of the metropolis Munich, because we can go to Munich in a short time "just like that".

Location of the apartment

The apartment is just 8 minutes by foot away from Dachau main station. It takes 3 minutes by bike to get there. The direct environment is a calm residential neighbourhood. The most important areas in Dachau (train station, Münchner Straße and the old city) are all approachable by foot, even more so by bike. There are three supermarkets nearby.

Traffic

By car: Dachau is very well connected by many freeways (A92, A99, A8). It takes you 30 minutes to go by car to the city center of Munich, depending on traffic.

Train/S-Bahn: Dachau train station is especially well connected to Munich by train and S-Bahn. It only takes 15 minutes to Hauptbahnhof Munich by train (60 minute interval) and 22 minutes by S-Bahn (10 minute interval).

Bus: There is a direct bus connection to TU Garching and MAN/MTU Karlsfeld.

You can park your car in the street. There is always enough space.
You can park your bicycle in the carport to have it secure from rain fall.

Residence/Anmeldung

You can register your residence here at the city of Dachau (to some known also as "Anmeldung" or "KVR") if you stay more than three months
You will not have your own mailbox (you will have to send your mail via me (c/o))

You will get internet via WLAN
We share a 50 mbit-connection

About me

I am Michael, 38 years old, and I will be living with you in the house. Although we have separate living spaces, we will cross paths in the stairwell. I am looking forward to have you as my new cohabitant.

I am a calm, agreeable and reflective person. At the moment I am concentrating on founding my own company. In my leasure time I am playing in a wind orchestra, I am going to the gym and I am taking care of the house.
